Ictext Inc. was founded in 2009 by Joe, Claire, and Leanne Conway.

Joseph R. Conway, Jr., Co-President and Co-Founder

I have been blind since birth.  I am grateful that I have been the fortunate beneficiary of superb Disability Office services throughout my education. I quickly convert all my classroom printed material to e-text so that I have the material for class. Without this service, I undoubtedly would not have been able to complete my education.  I do not rely upon readers, aides, or tapes and I actually have the added feature of having “searchable text” and “cut and paste” capacity when writing papers.

I founded Ictext, Inc. book scanning service knowing of the intolerable disadvantage blind and visually impaired students are facing without accessible printed academic material. The mission of Ictext, Inc. is to support the Disability Offices that are trying to accommodate their print impaired students.
